NU First Year Admission Circular 2020-21
NU First Year Admission Students will be admitted on the basis of SSC and HSC results without admission test. A Differen merit list will be Made for each college and the subjects of 1st year Undergraduate (honours) class will be allotted according to the order of preference of the examinees.
i) 40% and 60% of GPA obtained in SSC and HSC examinations with 4th subject respectively
ii) If required 40% and 60% of the total marks obtained in SSC and HSC examinations respectively.
iii) Even after this, if the results obtained by two or more applicants are the same, then the one who is younger will be given preference.
SSC Humanities must have a minimum GPA of 2.50.
HSC Humanities must have a minimum GPA of 2.50.
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC Business and Science.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in HSC Business and Science.
Only students of SSC 2017 and 2018 academic year can apply.
Only students of HSC 2019 and 2020 academic year can apply.

Those who have more points in the merit list will get the opportunity. The results will be published in a Several Steps. Example:
- 1st merit list.
- 2nd merit list (subject to vacancy) and migration.
- Merit list of quota and migration.
- Application of release slip
- And the merit list of the release slip.
